Even though you live in a 'ghost town', there are still lots of agencies that find national work for their talent!.
Best advice: Wait til you go to the festival and talk to the people there!. Ask around and find out who these other people's agents are!. Then get their email addresses and send in a headshot and resume!.
Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

honestly!. you never really know if a talent agency is good until you have tried them out!. people may tell you that a certain agency is good blah blah blah!.!.!.it has happened to me and it ended up being an awful experience!. just go on an acting union website like ACTRA and make a list of all the principal talent agencies that appeal to you!. just give all of them a call or e-mail them with a headshot and resume, it worked for me and i got lucky!. i am going to 2-3 auditions every week, depending on the season!. also, i am not assuming but you also can't rely on your parents to do all the work as well!. yes, you need a guardian until 18 but you can look for agencies and so on by yourself!.!.!.its good experience!. also, some acting classes are scams too!. dont get too caught up in them!.!.!.that is what i have learnt but everyone has their own style!. you mentioned that you "want to act"!.!.!.have you ever done any work before!?!?!? if not, it will be hard to get a good agent off the bat!. try mandy!.com if you dont already use it, it is a great casting website that is easy to use and doesnt cost a cent!. also, take any oppourtunities you can get!.!.!.experience is key!. i have worked with actors that have all had the same issues, so dont get discouraged!.!.!.thats the buisness! Ayway, good luck and break a leg!Www@QuestionHome@Com
