Question: Disney Broadway Musicals [designs]!?
Ok-
so i'm going to a theatre competion next year and since i did so good last year my theatre teacher wants me to start this summer working on my material!.
well my problem is- all the musicals i want to costume design for are all disney broadway musicals and i was wondering- is there aome law that would prevent me from changing disney's designs!?

by the way- i need facts "should be", "um", and "maybe" ok!?

If I understand you correctly, you're entering costume designs in a competition, and want to design costumes for a Disney Broadway show!? (I assume we're talking Lion King/Beauty and the Beast/Mary Poppins/Tarzan/something along those lines) Provided you don't try and use ANY part of their design in your costumes - ie it is entirely your own work - then no, there isn't any problem!. If you were to produce a Disney show it may well be somewhere in the performing rights conditions that you have to use their designs, but if it's a situation where you are doing the costume designs in isolation, then no, you're fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
