How do people normally judge good acting?

Question: How do people normally judge good acting!?

I mean, I can distinguish really bad acting, but sometimes I see Oscar nominees which I don't really understand, so I wanna know, what makes you feel like you just saw good acting!? Do you have some sort of criteria!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

- The actor has to be believable!.
- The actor has to make you care for or despise the character!.
- Facial expressions, voice!.
- How interestingly the actor can portray his character!.

The people that can do all those are at the Top tier!. But still, the opinion varies from person to person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
