Think of something that really hurt you in life!.

Or put vicks vapor rub on your hand and when you need to cry rub your hand across your eyes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to train your muscle memory!. Your diaphragm helps your breathing, your breathing helps you recreate emotions, passions, and states of being!. The trigger in your diaphragm is the same for crying as it is for laughter!. Instead of using personal experience or memory of sadness (dangerous because it takes you out of the scene) use your physicality to convey your sadness!. Haunch your shoulders, take shallow, rapid breaths, find the physicality that portrays vulnerability and your body will follow almost totally from muscle memory!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Be the character, it takes lots of concentration!. Usually you would have time to build it up!.!.!.a scene or a few lines before and after, like a piece of music!.!.!.most musicians find it difficult to start in a random place and usually have a particular phrase memorized!. It's how the brain works!. The brain takes chunks and categorizes them together!. So what people say about imagining your parent dying would work as well because you're brain has chunked grief with death!. Sometimes when asked to start in a random place, I imagine the entire scene and I even quickly whisper a few lines in my head and it really helps creating the image in my head again!. Lately I've been thinking that it'd be best if I could just stay in character and learn to take cues from the director as the character, instead of going back and forth as I've found that it's easier to concentrate during a performance than during rehearsal because I am completely lost in my character during the actual performance!. I think that's why many film actresses and actors really prefer the stage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think of a death in my family and I can bring those tears up in no time at all!. I can even cry heavy amounts of tears if I try!.

Not all people are able to cry on the spot!. Some have tried using that "death in the family" technique but not all of them are able to get that emotionally worked up about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What I do is try to get a burst of energy and start to laugh!. Funny right, I laugh to cry!? But it really works, just start laughing, but try to keep it in a little, which makes you get red and your eyes will start to water!. Then you'll look like your trying to hold in your tears!. It works for me!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

like that other guy said, do you need tears!? or do you just need crying sounds!? But what I tried is I rubbed my eyes a lot then kept them open for a long time(The audience doesn't even notice!)!. Then they get all watery and I squeeze the tears out!. Trust me, it always works!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know about the "automatic" part but I've always used sad things from my past to help me dredge up tears when needed!. I think about my mother, God love her, or some of my favorite pets who have crossed over!. Sad thoughts do bring tears!Www@QuestionHome@Com

u just have to think of something devastatingly sad that's happened to u in ur life!.!.like when u lost someone u loved like ur Nanna and try to put urself back in that moment (it also helps to look at the lights to get ur eyes wateringWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, it was hard for me at first too, but you have to think of something really sad, and if that doesn't work, really put yourself in the person's shoes, be the person!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
