Question: Need an audition song HELP please!?
mk, well I'm NOT doing "The Producers" anymore, I'm auditioning for "Oaklahoma" instead! i figured it woul be better for me!.
I am 14 turning 15 in September, and I have absolutly no clue what to sing for an audition piece!.
I have quite a low belting range i can only go up to like an H but i can go over the staff in my head voice, so what ever they're looking for i guess, but if any of you know of anything I would VERY much appericiate it :)))Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stick with Rogers and Hammerstein but don't use a song from Oklahoma! A classic and fun R&H song is "I Enjoy Being A Girl" from Flower Drum Song; you could sing Liesl's verse of "Sixteen Going On Seventeen" (Sound of Music); "Mister Snow" from Carousel; "Happy Talk" or "A C0ckeyed Optimist" (the zero is in there to get rid of the censoring!) from South Pacific; or "I Whistle a Happy Tune" from Anna and the King!. Hopefully one of those songs will work for you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

OMG I did "Oklahoma"! I played Ado Annie and so i would obviously suggest "I Cant say no" I think it would be good to audition with a song from the play!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Please don't audition from a song from the play!! I recommend "Notice me Horton" or "Shy"Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can't think of anything right now, but do your best, from your statement it sounds like whatever you sing will sounds great!. good luck and god bless!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
