Question: How would you pronounce this!?
In Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Act 5, Scene 1, line 253, Starveling says "This lanthorn doth the horned moon present!." Would the "present" be pronounced like present, to be there, or like present, to show!?

accent on second syllable, it is the symbol of the moon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Obviously he means "represents" so it would be pre sent as to exist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
