Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There is Zaneeta, who is usually played to look around 16 or so, there is her little sister Gracie, whose age is open, but usually played around 10-13 (might be good for you) and then there is Amaryllis who is a friend of Winthrop, and I think usually they are both played around 10, but it depends on who auditions! when I was in TMM, our Winthrop was 12 or 13, and Amaryllis was 10 or 11!. Amaryllis is a larger role than Gracie- more lines and she sings with Marian in "Goodnight, My Someone"!. the other girls just sing in some chorus songs (maybe "Trouble", definitely "76 Trombones" and "Wells Fargo Wagon")!. Gracie and Amaryllis will be onstage for a lot of the chorus/town scenes as well!. Sounds like Zaneeta might be a little old for you, unless you look older!. Zaneeta is usually a "dance" role- she dances a lot with Tommy and they also kiss!. She has more lines than the other little girls, but no singing solos, just chorus stuff!. Break a leg at auditions!Www@QuestionHome@Com I think the best part that you could get at your age would be the girl who sings the duet "Goodnight my Someone" with the librarian!. She'd also be in "Wells Fargo Wagon" and the song about "Iowa"!. I can't remember all the songs, but that character would be the main little-ish girl part in the play!. She'd have that one duet with the librarian, plus she would be in pretty much every ensemble song!.
