Question: Anyone have any advice for someone really wanting to be on Broadway but not living any where close to NYC!?
The place where I live doesn't have that many auditions to go to!. It's a smaller, more rural area and there isn't much to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want to be on Broadway, you have no choice but to move to NYC!. That should be obvious!. If you're talking about training for Broadway, then find local shows within a reasonable distance, or start taking acting/singing/dancing lessons!. If you are not yet of college age, you could try to find a school with a decent theatre program!. Do research on your own if these options fail!. Just because you can't be in a show doesn't mean that you can't be practicing and learning on your own!. Find recordings and sheet music and work on your technique!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you don't have any community theatre close by, you should consider branching out past your town a little bit for an audition!. Once you have a few plays under your belt, head to NYC for an audition!. Be warned, it's very competitive!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try to find auditions in bigger cities near you for National tours and regional theatre!. Or for a big risk, plan a long trip to NYC and see if you can get anythingWww@QuestionHome@Com
