Position:Home>Theater & Acting> How can i make my dream come true?Question: How can i make my dream come true!? When i was younger I attended a stage school every sunday and have starred in the West End Show Les Miserables and worked with Ant n Dec but had to give it all up to focus on my GCSEs!
Now i feel like ive lost my confidence but ive always loved singing and know its my strongest talent (prob need a brush up on breathing techniques) This is my dream to become a singer!?!? First you definitely need to get your confidence back and lessons is the best way to do that also totally go to karaoke bars with your friends = practice +good times Second - what do you consider making your dream come true!? - Is it making people happy/Is it selling millions of albums/ Is it being paid to do this Third - Realize that if you truly love singing- you'll be willing to take on smaller roles I would suggest joining some type of choir group and attending as many open mic nights as possibleWww@QuestionHome@Com I am not in the show business game, but, as with anything in life if you want something bad enough you will achieve it by having the correct mental attitude!. Do not begrudge having to step out for a second to get your GCSE's, this is a valuable asset to your success!. If you have a GCSE in drama or dance, perhaps you can get a diploma or something in this at College!. Colleges and other further education institutes, especially Universities have fast track links into the show business industry, and of course SCOUTS are always attending College and University productions looking for young talent!. With your previous experience on your CV already you are looking impressive!. Well done for that!. I would follow your dreams by going into further education, then going further still into University!. You have to strive for it, sacrafice for it, sweat, cry and bleed for your passion and your art!. People will see this, and what goes around comes around!. The same applies for if you want to be a fisherman, a soldier, a watch maker or a dust bin man or a CEO of a super company!.!.!.!.
