summer is right, it's really an intuitive natural thing, but there's nothing from stopping you from immersing yourself in witty/dry humour!.

Try reading books that express that kind of humour, read the auto/biographies of people you find witty/dry/wry (whatever term you prefer)!. also many brittish tv programs are much more likely to show this form of intellectual humour!.

Personally I love Stephen Fry, and his television work is incredible!. Look for the old Stephen Fry & Hugh Laurie comedy series, also A series called absolute power, and his quiz show QI!. Stephen himself does a wonderful podcast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is one of those few skills that come naturally!. But like anything I imagine you could learn it with practice!. I wouldn't know where to begin learning other than immersing yourself in it, I was born into a very quick witted dry humor household!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
