I am a tv/film actor, and my passions are journalism and acting!. I will be a freshman in high school, and I have started looking into colleges!. Well, the ones I'm interested are USC, NYU and UCLA!. NYU is my dream school, but am not sure if I will get jobs in NYC!. I know for journalism I will, but I'm not going for Broadway or theater!. USC is good, but terrible location!. UCLA is great, but no journalism undergraduate major!.The bigger picture I think is NYC and L!.A!. I have always heard NYC is for theater and LA is for tv/film!.!.!. I want to go to NYU, it just worries me!. I have always heard that NYU's program just has more to it than stage, meaning you learn lots of tv/film acting, too! I will also like to go to Columbia afterwords to get a masters in journalism!. I can see myself working from Variety to The New York Times, but I see this question asking more about acting since I know I can get a good career in L!.A!. or NYC for journalism!.
