Question: Any musicians out there!?

who started late!?
like in teen years
i just started playing violin (i'm 14 btw) and I watned to know of others out there have started late and been succesful
what do you play!?what type of musical experience do you have,such as orchestra concerts etc!.!.!.

I started playing violin when I was 13, I am now 15 and I play rather well!. And because all the violinists I know started when they were in 4th grade I knew I had a disadvantage so it compelled me to work extra hard!. And have caught up with them!. I also now play in a orchestra!. My sister was 16 when she decided she wanted to play an harp, and now 4 years later shes a professional harpist and going to collage for a music degree!. I started playing trumpet when I was 12!. I played seven years in high school and am going to play in college!. I've played in Jazz band, marching band, and symphony band at my school!. I have many friends in the same boat and one in particular is going into music!. She wants to play professionally and if that doesn't work she wants to teach!. If you work hard I think you can be successful no matter when you start, but even if you aren't the best player and can't make it big, you can always find a community band to play in!. The most important thing is that if you love playing you find a way to keep playing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well its never too late to start learning an instrument

well im kinda an early starter i started playing piano at age 6 but then when i wanted to learn to play guitar i was like 11 and i heard all around me that kids start to learn to play guitar at age 7 or 8
