who started late!?
like in teen years
i just started playing violin (i'm 14 btw) and I watned to know of others out there have started late and been succesful
what do you play!?what type of musical experience do you have,such as orchestra concerts etc!.!.!.

I started the saxophone when i was 13 (very late in the year - September) so i haven't even been playing for two years yet!.
In that time i have skipped straight to my 2nd grade exam and i got an A in that last year, then this year i have skipped 3rd grade and am preparing for my 4th grade!.
I am in the school band, i have competed in an eisteddfod, performed for my class!.!.!.I'd say I'm doing pretty well for someone who hasn't been playing very long!
And with the piano, i played keyboard for years in primary school but thats nothing like the piano, and i began to teach myself piano and i can now play quite comfortably at a 4th grade level!.
Nothing wrong with starting a little older!

Well i started classical piano back when i was 13, (now 16), within the past 2 and a half years i have been performing concerts around the city,
