I am more of a tv/film actor, and want to go to NYU!. My two passions are acting and journalism!. NYU is my dream school!. I am just not sure if I will be trained in tv/film acting rather than simply stage!. Some people on Y!A said NYU is a waist of time for tv/film, so I don't know what to think!. I have been acting since 6, and have been in more than 25 plays!. I just got sick of theater, and I want a career in tv/film acting!. I cannot sing or dance, so Broadway is out of the question!. Will I get tv/film jobs in NYC!? Lots of people have said I should go to a conservatory, but I need a college degree, end of story! I have looked into schools like UCLA, but they don't have a journalism department!. I am too much of a smart kid, to give up my other passion!. Will NYU get me what I need to become a successfull actor!? I plan on going to Columbia after NYU to get a Master degree in journalism!. I would like to work for things from Variety to The New York Times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
