Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
All professional actors are members of SAG!. (Screen Actor's Guild)!. You must be a member of SAG for the best work in the US!. There are three official unions for actors: SAG, AFTRA (American Federation of Radio and Television Artists) and Equity (theater)!. If you are non union (non SAG)you will not be hired for union jobs!.!.!. and you will not be protected by union rules!. You will want to be union to pursue a career!. Call SAG and find out the current rules of eligibility for joining!. The two most popular ways to join: either need to collect a certain amount of vouchers (by extra work etc!.!.!.!.) or be asked to join by a producer or union production that wants to hire you!. Go to SAG's website to find out more!. (I think it's www!.SAG!.org and check it out) And yes! ALL stars, actors etc!.!.!. are members of SAG!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

im assuming non-sag is not a member of the screen actors guild, but if you're a very determined actor, then go with SAG becasue that means your working hours are longer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Non Sag!.!.!.!.works best !.!.!.!.!.you don't need to hold them up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
