Question: What is an example of a hyperbole, irony, comic relief, foreshadow, and aside in Act 1 of Romeo & Juliet!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Hyperbole- Act 1, Scene 1- When Romeo is in deep love with Roseline, but then when he sees Juliet he forgets all about Roseline and goes right for Juliet!.

Irony-Act 1, Scene 5- "I will withdrawl; but this intrusion shall now seeming sweet convert to bitter gall" - Tylbalt (Lines 91-92)

Comic Relief- Anything with the Nurse!. That character is comic relief in general!.

Aside- Act 4, Scene 1-
FRIAR LAURENCE
[Aside] I would I knew not why it should be slow'd!.
Look, sir, here comes the lady towards my cell!.

Foreshadowing- Act I, Scene 5
Juliet states, "If he be married, / My grave is like to be my wedding bed!." This will be related over and over again, from her Nurse and later even from Lady Capulet!.
