First you going to have to go to acting schools for training!. Not only one but a couple!. Then you should get in local plays, school plays, student films!. You could search for auditions on craigslist!.com or subscribe to backstage!.com The you should get headshots that look like you!. Professional headshots are pretty expensive they cost $200-$1000 but on craigslist you could find less expensive headshot that range from $50 to $150!. As you get more and more credits on your resume, you may want to go for an agent!. An agent gets you auditions and they want people who they think would nail all the auditions they give!. If you get a part in an audition!. The money you make out of that work you pay 10% to your agent!. ONLY 10%!. If they ask for money upfront they are a SCAM!. Once you get an agent you would start getting a lot of auditions which means more audition!. As you make money out of roles you make you may want to get professional headshots!. Then in the future you may want to join Union such a SAG, AFTRA , AEA!.!.!.!. HOPE I HELPEDWww@QuestionHome@Com

-You don't need an agent until you are ready for big work and experienced!. Start out small by going to your local theatre and taking some classes!. You can then start auditioning and create a resume!. You'll also need headshots in order to get work!. When you have enough experience and think you are ready, search "acting agents in (local city, state)" on google maps!. You should find a list of agents with contact information!. After checking the agent is legit (SAG/AFTRA affiliated or franchised), you can submit headshot/resume or set up an interview!. Good luck! Remember, never pay upfront fees to an agent, and you don't need one to get work! For acting jobs, check with your local film commission, theatre, or newspaper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm working on this too!. First is headshots!. Only work with a photographer who specializes in ACTOR headshots!. Then it's using SAG-approved searches to contact an agent with your headshot and ACTING resume in the mail, then follow up in a week to see if you can get an appointment!.

Look through the book "Breaking Into Acting For Dummies"!. I've been following those directions exactly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
