Question: How can I find an acting agent in the States while I live in Italy!?

I live in Italy, but my dream is become an Actor/Singer in the U!.S!. and I know I need an Acting Agent for the first part of the dream lol!.!.!. I know there are agency there but How can I do!? I live in Italy!.!.!. any way do get any email address of any agent!?

Sorry, but in order to get an agent in the States, you need to live here!. How would an agent send you on auditions when you live in a completely different country!?

Reading your most recent update - Again, it doesn't work that way!. Agents get auditions on an ongoing basis and call actors in accordingly!. What you're asking would be a huge pain in the a$$ and no agent that you would want to work with (ie!. actually gets good work) has the time to do that, nevermind the fact that they have no control about when auditions are set!.

Try to find an agent in Italy and get some experience!. How about the UK as well!? It is already very difficult for American actors to break into the industry, nevermind foreigners who don't have a visa!.

If you're not satisfied with any of these answers, I advise you to write to Bonnie Gillespie, who has an advice colum for actors in Backstage!. She will not tell you anything different though, so don't expect it!.

Read some books on the industry, maybe one of them will address the issue of non-citizens trying to break into the U!.S!. market!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first you need to be a citizen of the US!. i have no idea how to do that since i was born here and i hate it!.!.!.!.!.!.anyway, then you need to get a permit that says that you are a US citizen ( since you moved here) i think thats it but idk i lived here all my life and i wished i would have been born in the UK but thats just meWww@QuestionHome@Com
