Question: Is it a sign!?
I've been wanting to go to acting school (NIDA) for a while!.
Ages ago when i first started telling my parents and researching it, that very day a NIDA booklet came in the mail!
is that a sign i should go or what!?!
Then!.!.Today i asked a question on yahooanwers if i should leave my tiny town and head for the city to go to NIDA!. someone said 'on your deathbed you dont regret the things you did in life, you regret the things you didn't do'!. An hour later i turned oprah on and she had some guy talking about 'making the most of life and following your childhood dreams!' and the guy even said ''on your deathbed you dont regret the things you did in life, you regret the things you didn't do'!.

If it is what you want - your true hearts desire, and has been for some time, then seriously - think it through!.
Would you be able to cope with the pressure!?
Is this the path you want to follow in life!?
Do you have a back-up plan!?
Believe in yourself, talk to people at the School, build up a picture of your capabilities!.
It sounds like you have found your dream, close your eyes and jump!
Successful people take risks and follow untrodden paths!. Remember that !

instead of going for more serious acting institutes like NIDA, why don't you try out some free acting classes on the net, or some cheaper ones and see how it makes you feel!. Learning in NIDA is a lot different, but the passion and drive of an aspiring actor should never know no limit!. If you can do great in those shabby acting classes, then I bey you'll do wonders in NIDA!.

And here is another person telling you to follow you heart!. BUT, make sure you really feel it and then go for it with everything you have! Just make sure you prepare yourself though, with training, training and more training and business skills!
