Gosh!.!.!.sorry that so many people here are so darn negative! Congrats on your decision!. WELL FIRST OFF AVOID ANY AND ALL ADDS YOU SEE IN PAPERS ETC!.
Contact SAG and order a list of agents!. It will cost like 13 bucks!. Once you have the list!.!.!.call and SHOP the agents and see who will best fit your needs!. GOOD luck! IT IS A LOT OF WORK!. My 6year old really really really wanted to try, but being a single mom, i couldn't afford to drive her around to auditions!. you have to be available at any time!. I wish you and your daughter all the success!

There should be some opportunities in your community and/or your child's school!. You should explore these first!. It is very important that the impulse to follow this kind of life comes from your child rather than yourself!. Without some real experience you are much more likely to find leeches rather than helpers in seeking "professional" agents or managers!.

Please please please don't tell me you're one of those parents that forces your kid into modeling and stuff like that!.
My mom was like that with my older sister and it totally ruined her for life!.
If you're totally sure she wants to do it,
try out some local pageants first!. That's what my mom did and my older sister nearly made it to fame!. But she finally quit at 15!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
