Hiya! Okay, from one actress to another, Here's the thing!. I ALWAYS here girls saying "I want to do it!" But it is so hard to JUST now be getting into Acting!. Acting is a hard deal, its commitment!. commitment!. commitment!.!!! You most of the time have to be a triple threat to perform!. Acting is a serious job! Okay, well, get into Local Theatres!. If your town/city only has 1 company, then do one each season- summer, fall, spring, winter!.!.!.!.therefore u could do about 4 plays a year! And I know what it feels like!.!.!.i have no drama club at my scool either! But i've been acting since age: 4, and did professional with an agency, etc!.etc!. So if you wanna get started, finish highschool, therefore you could have done 16 plays by ur 18, and then do other stuff too, such as well singing courses, keep doing dance- cuz thats impressive!! and then you'll have a perfect resume' and then go take classes and major in Performing Arts in College!. After that, if you don't already live in CA or NY (i suggest NY for broadway), go move there for a few months to a year , and try and get something started there!. Go out for auditions, etc!
Good luck with whatever you plan on!Www@QuestionHome@Com

well the dancing is a very good start and going to take singing lessons is a step in the right direction but you should also try out for school plays or musicals if your school does them if it doesn't look around your area for companies that specialize in musical theater or audition for there shows it gives you the experience of performing but also for experience find open auditions and go to them if you can but also i found it helps to do something different to be more well rounded such as
learning how to play a musical instrument or taking up a sport
i hope this helpsWww@QuestionHome@Com

community theater is really the best way to build a resume and get experience- especially if your school doesn't have a drama department!. Sounds like you've got a lot of motivation and passion!. Go for it :) Just remember that pursuing a career in the industry can get really difficult sometimes!. You've got to keep that motivation even in the worst of times!. Good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
