thatre is 99!.9% rejection, and that !.1% will come when you believe in it!. Keep doing auditions, i know what you feel like, and i hate it, but you have to keep strong and keep going =)!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Were you Troy in the first one with the same company!? If not, the new one were probably looking for someone different!. If it was the same one, then it's possible that someone new showed up that was more suited for the part than you, or someone else perfected their talent and really impressed casting!. It doesn't mean you're a bad actor, or necessarily a worse one, just that this other guy was probably more suited for the part!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Let's be practical here!. Were there any problems with you and the director during the first production!? Were there any problems between you and another cast member or crew member!? Were you late to rehearsals!? Did you talk while not onstage at rehearsals!? Were you late in getting your lines down!? Or, did you really get your lines down well and solidly, or were others having to carry you!? How were your entrances!? How was any singing and dancing you had to do!? How was your backstage behavior!? Were you polite, kind, and supportive to the rest of the cast!? How did you treat the crew!?

Don't beat yourself up, of course, but do go through these and other very practical questions and answer them very honestly to yourself!. If any one of these things was a problem, you know what you can work on for next time!. Being onstage is not all about looks and talent and being 'right' for the part!. A whale of a lot of it is about working together, being a team player, and making yourself easy to work with!. Getting the play on the boards is a tough job, even for an excellent director!. What director in his or her right mind is going to make his or her job harder by casting someone who's difficult, awkward, or unpleasant!?

If none of these things was honestly a problem, then you'll just have to roll with it and keep trying!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actors are rejected much more than they are cast!. Get used to it!. Do two things!. Help on the production backstage!. And tryout for something else as soon as you can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
