Question: I have quite the dilemma!. Which is better: RENT or Spring Awakening!?

Being a self-proclaimed RENThead, I lean toward RENT, but Spring Awakening is pretty amazing too!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm going to have to go against the grain and say Spring Awakening, here!.

I love both the shows plots and sentiments, the characters, and the fact that they chose somewhat taboo topics to cover, so it came down to the music, and personally, I prefer most of the songs in Spring Awakening just a little bit more than RENT's!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How can you prefer RENT over Spring Awakening when you hear the RENT songs being sung so often by people who aren't even into musical theatre!?

But even if that weren't so, and RENT *wasn't* overdone, I'd still have to go with Spring Awakening!. Its so!.!.!.different!. I couldn't agree more with the line "Broadway may never be the same again" which is printed on the Spring Awakening posters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

haha its totally my obsession, it just kept me so interested the whole time
and i saw jonathan groff, who is the most gorgeous and talented and sweetest person ever
it expresses real everyday problems that every teenager goes through, and as a teenager myself i found it really interesting lol
