find an agent, but BEWARE!
Stay away from 'agents' or schools that ask for tons of money up front!. True, a modeling 'school' my help you learn the proper runway technique, but they 'teach' so many people, it's a very small chance you'll get any jobs out of it, and they get all your money! Plus, many of them ask you to do jobs for free, as part of your 'education'!. hello!!?! they are using you!.
If you can afford it, get a session of photos done by a professional (a sitting fee can be $200-1,000, depending on level of photographer, how long the session is, if they have a make-up artist with them, how many changes of clothes you get, etc!.)!. Make sure you get full body and headshot out of it!. then go to agents with these photos!. Meeting you in person and seeing what you can do on film will help them determine your marketability!. You might not be good for sports illustrated or Glamour, but you may be great for the JC Penny catalogue, you know!? If you can't afford to have a headshot done beforehand, just contact some agents and ask what they require for a meeting!. Maybe a snapshot or senior portrait would work, or maybe you need nothing at all!. Just call and find out!. That's their job!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sign up to a modeling agency, they'll teach you all you need to know!.

Be aware though that a career in modeling is not necessarily the glamorous lifestyle you might be imagining!. Advertising agencies more often than not like to portray ordinary-looking people in order to help sell product, particularly if they feel that their target demographic will respond better to people they can more easily relate to!. There are actually a lot of very ordinary looking people in the modeling industry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Uh, if you want to be a model, you know what I mean, you should do your little turn on the catwalk!. Yeah on the catwalk, yeah, do your little turn on the catwalk!.

Seriously though, please research all modeling agencies before doing anything!. Obviously you are a novice at this and there are PLENTY of sleazebags out there who will con you into taking off your shirt and immortalizing you on a website with an unsavory nature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're going to have to submit an acting resume` to a famous and reputable acting/modeling school!. Keep working at it, and peruse the internet and yellow pages for news on talent agencies just for this sort of thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There's no way anyone can answer that question without seeing you!. Are you 5'8" or taller!? How old are you!? What kind of model do you want to be!? What category do you physically fit in to!? There are a lot of "agencies" out there who will take your money and call you a model!.!.!. so you need to know the realities for yourself!. It also depends on where you are and what's available in your commercial market!. If you want to talk to me specifically about you and your possibilities!.!.!. I'll be glad to talk to you for free!. I've been working as a professional model and actress for 20 years!.
