For example, if it was 'nerdy' to play basketball, and people made fun of michael jordon for playing and he quit, he could be flipping burgers right now at a burger king!. Thus, you should ignore everyone else and who cares what they think anyway, its not like they have to hear you practice and play, also, it looks good for a college resume!.Www@QuestionHome@Com are you kidding me!? violinists are beasts! my best friend is awesome at the violin!. it is a really good instrument to learn because it helps a lot when learning string instruments!. with the basics from violin you can pick up others much easier like the viola and cello etc!. Violins are really good to learn to get into orchestra and other programs which are also really good for scholarship money!. Don't EVER let someone tell you the violin is dorky, it is amazingWww@QuestionHome@Com I remember when I used to play the violin!. I started when I was seven years old right til when I was tweleve!. I then decided to take a break seeing as my teacher told me I had to or I could damage your arm!. I don't think playignt he violinis nerdy!. I think that you should be happy with the fact that you are able to play and read music!. If you play any instrument you're pretty cool!. Do the people that say that to you play an instrument!? If they don't, they don't know how difficult it can be!.
