Question: Getting noticed at the mall by TV scouts!.!.!.special!?!?

The other day I was at the mall and was confronted by a TV show scout from Disney Channel!. She told me to go to these auditions for a new show but I was too old!.!.!.!.is this special or common!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unfortunately I live in Hollywood, CA!. So I see this stuff happen ALL the time!. Don't fall for it!. Someone walking up to you at the mall and inviting you to auditions is just as bad as someone trying to spam their websites on here!.
If you gave them your information (I'm hoping you didn't), don't return their phone calls! If you're really that interested though, I don't think it would hurt to contact Disney to verify if they in fact did have a scout at that particular location!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Listen to the dude above me - No Disney rep goes scouting in a mall for potential actors!. They are bombarded with people trying to get roles on their shows/movies!. She may not have asked for money right then, but I'm sure if you had stuck around long enough, she would have had you pulling out your checkbook!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ditto to above (except the 3rd one)!. Disney does not send "scouts" to malls!. When they need to cast a show, they use a casting director who posts breakdowns to agencies, who then submit actors they have on file!.
That woman was a lier and a scammer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a scam!. the 'scout' was either a con-artist or a pedophile!.
