Question: Need some people to participate in this "Antigone" survery!. (Only three questions!.)!?
I'll give 10 points for whoever fills this out best!. :)

Okay, the questions:

1!. "(In your opinion) Who do you think best fits the definition of a tragic hero--Antigone or Creon!? And why do you think so!?"

2!. "(In your opinion) How did the chorus and it's leader, the choragus, influence your personal understanding of Antigone and Creon!?"

3!. "(In your opinion) How did the choral odes, to you, contribute to your personal understanding of the play's theme!?"

If you could take the survey real quick, that'd be great!. I've only got a few people that I know that have taken it so far!. (Not so many people I know have read Antigone!.!.!.=/)

Again, thanks if you do!. 10 points for who gives the best survey!.

Have a nice night!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1!. Creon!. The definition of a tragic hero (to my best knowledge) is someone who falls from a high position to a low position!. Although both Antigone and Creon do fall, Antigone falls not because of her own corruption, but because of her keeping to prayerful ritual!. She also goes to the grave with friends, her love, her beauty, and she will go to the gods!. Creon is jsut a hated, corrupt dictator!.

2!. They show a point of view outside of the person!. They show the atmosphere and what made all the leads do what they did, and they show the mass' opinions!.

3!. they contributed the most out of anything to the play's theme, they set tho whole mood and atmosphere on stage!.

I acted in a version of this tragedy recently, so I don't know how completely accurate it will be to the original, but I hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
