Start by establishing a relationship between the student and teacher--is this a teacher the student has turned to for advice or is the student ambivalent toward the teacher's concern!? How and why does the opinion change, or does it!? Or is it a later epiphany that allows the student to see what the teacher was trying to say to him/her is relevant!? Although you are depicting this scene as "counseling," be very careful not to make their interaction "passive," such as the student being called in to meet with the teacher, unless you can incorporate some physical action into the scene!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
