Read The pillowman by Martin McDonagh, i just did it for drama and really liked it!.
its about a writer whos is being interregated because murders have been taking place that resemble his stories!. Its really good, lots of sarcastic humour, quite sick stories but quite a lot of swearing aswell!.!.!. i dont know if that would put u off!. I really reccommend it though

these are ones ive read while studying english lit and drama at school and i enjoyed

Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller- is about a man slightly losing his mind and set in America at the time of the great depression!. (it can be quite confusing to read at points because of flashbacks and such but a good and emotive story)

Look Back in Anger by John Osborne- is about relationship troubles and has themes of social class and relationships!. i think its really well written and just really everyday life and a look into the peoples relationships!.

Journey's End by R,C Sherriff (ive havent read all of this but did go to see it and really enjoyed it) its set during the first world war and the men living in the trenches, it really challenges the heroic war image, shows the really gritty side of it, the fears of the soldiers and thatWww@QuestionHome@Com

The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, sophisticated witty comedy of manners!. The Public Eye by Peter Shaffer, a fantastic, funny British farce with religious overtones, Three of the best roles ever written!. South Pacific by Rogers, Hammmerstein and Joshua Logan, from James Mitchner's Tales of the South Pacific, a fantastic blend of comedy and pathos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
