Question: In fictional TV programs, is there a real person on the end of the phone!?
When actors and actresses are speaking on a phone in Eastenders for example, is there a real person talking to them on the phone
I would have thought that it was just the actor acting and no one would be speaking to them on the phone, but sometimes it seems really convincing!.
If there is no one on the other end of the phone, there should be a real person holding a conversation because it might look more realistic!.

The answer is probably no, but could you correct me or tell me why this is!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't likely!. But I do believe on the set of Scream, the killer was actually on the other end of the phone when the actors had to talk to him so they would get a more realistic reaction out of them!. It also created some mystery amongst the actors, because they didn't know who the real person was who was talking to them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
