I was recently in a play about King Arthur, and for the Director, we bought a book of the whole king Arthur play, and had everyone sign the inside!. I'd use what ever the play was about (unless it was about hookers, or something, LOL) and get him/her a gift having to do with that!. =D
I hoped that helped!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I wouldn't bring most men flowers, but most women like them very much!. Yes, gender matters in this!.

Usually the cast gets together and takes up a collection and gets the director something as a thank you gift for all his or her hard work in making you all look good!. Sometimes a cast will give individual gifts instead of a group gift!. Ask some of your fellow cast members and see what they think of this idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The gifts that I've treasured the most were the ones that the entire ensemble participated in and reflected their experience of doing the show!. A poster for the show which was inscribed and autographed by the cast members for instance!. Although one actor once gave me a marble egg (from Funny Girl) that was one of the best ones!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
