Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I always say 'thank you 7' or 'thank you places'!. The thank you lets the SM know s/he has been heard, and the final word clarifies that you heard the exact call!. Maybe it's just personal experience, but the other way seems awkward to me!. also, I've been a stage manager, and usually I'm in such a hurry that I only catch the last word you say, anyway, and making the last word the call lets me know you heard 'five' and not 'fifteen'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I would just go with a simple but loud thank you the sm are usually really busy running around at that point, and they just want to know you heard themWww@QuestionHome@Com Either works!. As long as (s)he knows you heard them, you're fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I've never said anything other than 'thanks!.'Www@QuestionHome@Com |
