My agent got a phone call from one of my auditions and said I was awful!. I was awful though how ever because my father just died, and I guess I wasn't all that up to acting!.
But I need to get something and FAST by the end of the summer or my agent will drop me!. I think its not a case of getting better at acting just falling in love with acting again!. Use all those emotions inside you in those auditions, choose a different monologue (if possible) and relate it to something that will really get you back!. Hopefully your passion will show through, also, watch all your favourite movies again and note on your favourite actors performance!. Take notes on them Good Luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com What I do is lock myself in my room all by myself and study the past material of my acting projects!. For instance: I did the Sweeney Todd musical for my high school, and this is what I did!. Lock my self up, and viewed and listened to all the books, musicals, and CD's I can find!. Not only that, but I looked for ways to add to the character!. I thought about they way they moved and think!. I eventually become the characters, like literally!. Headth Ledger did the same thing for Jocker!. He lived in a apartment all by himself for a month and read the Batman comic books that had the jocker in them!.
