Question:

Soo I'm an actor who had acting training planning to audition for work to fill up my resume with experience!. This summer I was planning to stay to audition for a couple of feature and short film that was going to be shot this summer!. So one day my family got together and we were speaking about me and my other cousins not going!. I told them i wanted to get headshots and do film this year to fill up my resume!. Then she convinced me when she told me everything we were going to do, like going to a resort, going to a pool every week and go to beaches!. Its more to it!!!.!.!.But I dont know what to do, Its a tough decisioon!. I dont want to miss a good vacation like that but i do not want to miss my chance to work on feature and short films this summer when school's out!. WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?!!!?!? I REALLY WANT TO WORK IN FILMS!! IM DESPERATE!! BUT DONT WANT TO MISS THE VACATION OR MISS AUDITIONING FOR FILMS!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like to think of myself as a true thespian because i would much rather do anything involving theatre than anything else!. So the choice is easy for me, but for you you really just need to think of which you want to do more!. The acting experience will help you later in your acting career, unless you do not go into acting, then you'll have lost that wonderful vacation!.

So, you are not an actor, but a wannabe!. Actors are acting!. What makes you think you can do films just because you would like to do them!? How are you going to get the auditions!? What makes you think you are experienced and trained enough to get the roles!? Your question sounds like a young teen!. If I were you, unless it's a once-in-a-lifetime role, and you know for a fact you have the role, go on the vacation!. They are always shooting movies and there will always be more roles, but family time like that doesn't come around too often!.

try doing both! go to the shoot then just skip a day of filming! if you can! and follow what is more important vacation or your job and your life(according to your name:)just think it seems like a hard desicion just follow your heart,mind and anything else!!good luck and maybe if you want to can skip vacations and have a huge one next time or go vacation and audition next time! good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
