Question: What is once on this island play about!?

I am writting a paper on this play I went to see a few months ago !. I got there late soo i never really knew what is was about!.!.!.!. I would really apriciate if some one could tell me about it !.!.!.!. it would really help me out a lot! !.!. after that my paper will become easier since i also have to write about the lights,background,sound ,memorization!. etc!.!. thnks

OMGOODNESS, i was in this show last year at my school! it is about this girl named Ti Moune, and a rich boy gets into a car crash and she falls in love with him!. the storytellers tell the story of how she was when from when she was little to when she grew up!. Mama Euralie and TonTon Julian are her parents, they found her in a tree and took her in!. There are 4 gods: Erzulie, the goddess of love, Asaka, goddess of Earth, Papa Ge, god of death, and Agwe, god of water!. they all help Ti Moune along her journey!. Erzulie and Papa Ge have many different views!. Erzulie basically wants to keep them together, for the good of love, bup Papa Ge wants to kill one of them!. basically, it is a story about a poor girl who is in love with a rich man (the rich are also called granhommes) in france, trying to survive!.
