I've auditioned for a lot of musicals, and made a lot too!. If you want advice, all I can tell you to have energy!. The directors are bored out of their minds watching people do the same thing all night (or day, whatever)!. Come up and turn all your nervous energy into energy you can use to sparkle!.

also, do something memorable! The best role I've ever gotten, I got after I sang the theme song from "The Magic School Bus"!. It wasn't the greatest song for my voice, but I had fun and a lot of energy!. also, it wasn't anything anyone else did!. Being memorable is the best way to get a call back!. If you can bring some of that memorability to the character you play, the directors will want to show you off! :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually I have a few stories to share, but honestly I don't feel like re-writing them!. You can find them here on my site for new and aspiring actors!. They are actually about two scams I was almost a victim of if I hadn't been alert and thinking!. These kinds of things happen all the time unfortunately!.
