Question: Is Grease closing on Broadway or what!?

Someone told me that the show is closing and that Max and Laura, the people who won the roles of Danny and Sandy on a reality show are going on a touring show in the same roles!. is that true!? I'm kind of upset because I was hoping to see Laura play Sandy on BroadwayWww@QuestionHome@Com

Not in the near future!. The show is doing very well financially!. There's no need for a tour yet!. They'll both be there through the summer, at the very least!.
I've heard rumors that other people from the show were going to tour, but I've yet to hear anything official!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If Max & Laura do do the tour; (I'm not sure if they are!.!.!.) they wouldn't close the show!. Both of them have understudies who would assume the roles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
