Question: Breaking into film acting- advice!?

I'm a 16 year old who (trite as it sounds) wants to break into film acting more than anything else!. Does anyone have any good advice for finding auditions, getting representation, and what a good age to begin networking would be!?

Honestly, a huge issue for me is the lack of opportunity where I live!.

For now!.!.!. just do what's available to you right now!. Don't be picky, just start to build your resume!. Try looking for Open Mic Night, talent shows, anything you can get your hands on so you get comfortable in front of an audience!.!.!.!. get experience, THEN get an agent!.!.!.!.!.!. most people confuse this step and say do that first!.!.!.!. To be honest, no sane agent will hire a green (inexperienced) actor, because they are so naive about the industry and the actual processes that go on!.

Read books concerning acting and the business side of it!.
Start Networking now, no time like the present!. Start by getting your name out there in your town, be nice and personable and tell them about you wanting to be an actress!. Some might come up you never know!

Remember opportunity doesn't come to you, you have to search it out!

What is the procedure in the city where you live, to meet with a Talent Agencies!?

If you can't anwer that question, ask your actor friends!.

The procedure is NOT the same in every city!. Some Talent Agencies meet only with actors referred to them, or, they have seen perform on stage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok!.!.!.!.!.!.well first you have to get an agent (you dont have to pay them until you get paid) and then your agent has to inform you about any auditions!. try to start from little roles and keep on waorking your way up!.!.!.!.!.!. GOOD LUCK!!!
