A rapier is a sword: it's long, thin, pointy!. A dagger is more like a knife than a sword, it is shorter, wider, and can have a carved tip!.

I'm sure you know what a sword looks like, but as for images of a dagger!.!.!. if you have ever watched the TV Show "LOST", John Locke carries around a short dagger (it looks like a curved knife)!.

Hope that helped :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

A rapier is a sword, and a dagger is a dagger (obviously)!. A sword is longer and a dagger is shorter!. Hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rapier: long, thin pointed sword (right hand)
Dagger: short pointed knife (left hand)

In Rapier and Dagger combat, the dagger is usually known as a Main Gauche (French for "left hand")!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
