I have a talent show audition at my school this wednesday, im at my friend house and we are rehearsing, i am going to be Amber Von Tussle from Hairspray!.

Try a thrift store or even a prom dress shop!. There are many awful, sequined, puffy prom dresses, and tis the season! so if you are willing to blow some extra $ on a dress, that would be a great idea!. At a thrift store, look for dresses with hoop skirts, used bridesmaid dresses, and lots of sparkle!. Any dresses with a peter pan collar and a sash are also appropriate!. Make sure it isn't too short to wear to school!. Wear your hair in curlers or in a slick updo (use shine spray and bobby pins and google updo)!. Make-up should be preppy pastels and matte lipstick!. Make the make-up loud because you're onstage!.

Ms!. Baltimore Crabs: Try a floor-length evening dress in either red or black!. Use big jewelry like obnoxiously large faux-pearls from Claire's, big cocktail rings (mark by Avon) or large vintage brooches (Ask Mom)

Penny: Same as Amber but not as "loud"!. Use yellow or baby blue hues with a white sash and collar!. Hair should be in pigtails!. Make-up should be a red lipstick that pops and very little eye-make-up!.
