I like the above poster's idea of thinking of it before the launch, but if you want to do it while in space, just try to place yourself in there!. How lonely is it up there!? How quiet is it!? What does it feel like!? Are you excited!? Scared!? Nervous!? Who or what is waiting for you back home!?

Good writing comes from empathy!. If you can place yourself in the situation, you'll know what to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

how about you write (from sally's perspective, of course) about the turmoil of not knowing whether or not she should go set on the night before the shuttle launch!.

ask the questions: why go!? what would she be leaving behind!? what are her fears!? death!? fame!? or does she go because she thinks its her duty to go- for america!? for womankind!? everyone goes through that kind of internal conflict- it would be good to explore that!.

onstage, it'll be just you, probably a chair and a glass of water!.!.!.and nothing else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
