What's a live audition for modeling?

Question: What's a live audition for modeling!?

There's a free open audition at my local mall to appear in a magazine and commercials!. I want to do it--maybe just for the experience--and they want you to just come and then have a live audition!.

So!.!.!.what's a live audition!? What do you have to do!? What do you wear!?!?!?

you will have to 'stomp' (as tyra puts it) before a panel of judges (usually four or five)!. its just walking tall and confidently- putting each foot directly in front of the other!. practice in front of a mirror with two books on ur head!. this seriously helps!.

i advise that you wear jeans, a little top (preferably without a print on it) and high heels- the heels are the most important bit!. also, most agents look for a person that has a little more to offer!.!.!.make urself pop out from the rest!. a nice pair of earrings or a great hair colour will work!. just dont over do it!

also, as far as make up is concerned; make ur face look natural!. dont pack on blush etc!. ur not going to a party!. you need to look as fresh as possible!.

also, bring to the audition some professionally done headshots and a resume (contact information etc)!.
