There are roughly 38 surviving plays attributed to Shakespeare!. I say "roughly" because there are a few that are also attributed to other playwrights, too, and no one's really 100% sure who wrote them!. (I can't figure out where the person above came up with 57!. He may well have written or helped to write that many, but they haven't survived!.) Several of the surviving plays are generally thought to be collaborations between Shakespeare and one or more other playwrights (for example, "Henry VIII" is generally thought to have been written by Shakespeare and John Fletcher, and "Pericles Prince of Tyre" probably includes some work by George Wilkins)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
