Question: For an actor, which name is better; Barry Cassidy, Or Finn (Fionnbar) Wilkinson!?
It's a personal question, but I'd really appreciate your input, (No haters though)!. I know it sounds silly but the right name/image is crucial to a successful career in acting these days!. If it helps I'm from the UK, 20y/o, quite clean cut, etc!. Thanks for any answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Finn (NOT Fionnbar -- Rhyss Ifans notwithstanding!) Wilkinson works better for me!. (But be prepared for endless questions about being related to that fine British actor Tom Wilkinson!.)
Barry Cassidy sounds too familiar!. Is there already someone acting under that name!? (Maybe I'm just thinking of 60s, or is it 70s!? -- pop idol David Cassidy, American actor Jack Cassidy, Kerouac pal Neal Cassidy!.!.!.!.) In short, too many Cassidys already floating around!
Finn seems to be a "name of the moment"!. (Witness Julia Roberts naming one of her kids that!.)
Good luck! You've chosen one of the hardest careers!.!.!.but you already know that, I'm sure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

'Barry' makes people thing of aging men in pubs!.
