Question: Has the curse of MacBeth worked at your theatre!?

Hey, I do alot of theatre and several times we have done the legend of the M word!.!.!. or "MacBeth"!.!.!. Some people believe in it, others don't!. Has it ever worked for you!? Please tell me!Www@QuestionHome@Com

YES! Absolutely! In high school, we were doing "The Grapes of Wrath", and I said the "M" word backstage!.!.!.!.!.shortly after, I tripped and sprained my ankle, another cast-mate suddenly threw up backstage for no reason, and another friend tripped on a metal object on stage and cut his foot open! I had to reverse the curse by going outside the theatre door, spinning clockwise in a circle three time, spitting on the ground, and then knocking on the theatre door until someone let me back in! Then no more bad things happened! It's all just superstition really, like not whistling backstage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Interesting!. My friend said that before a performance, and all the lights abruptly went out!. It was weeeeiiiird!. I don't really believe it, but that was a strange consequence!. They made her go spin around, spit, and shout a profanity as loud as she could, though, and we had no further mishaps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

lol, we haven't done it yet at school, but i've heard of the myth, lol!. i was watching jimmy neutron and it was on there, that's how i learn about it, lol!. at school, we're kinda superstituous so i kno if we ever the "m" word, we would make sure not to say it! lolWww@QuestionHome@Com
