This is strictly my view but I think that Shakespeare was trying to show that she doesn't love him!. Her love was supposed to be the silly love of youth!. An Ill-formed misplaced obsessive love!. A love that is based on reality as much as Demetrius' love for her is (after Puck uses fairy magic) Thus it is fitting that they would end up together!. And in their delusion they are both happy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

although Helena is saught after by MANY meni think she loves Demetrius in a puppy love sense!. He was her first love so she feels strongly toward him!. And after him turning her down so often she had started to become insecure about herself, possibly believing that no other man would have her!. ONLY MY PERSONAL OPINION!Www@QuestionHome@Com
