Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Most of the people in all the current productions of Wicked in the US auditioned a long time ago and many started as ensemble/swing members, or understudies when Wicked was first starting out!. Some new people have come in, but most of them have been in at least two different casts of Wicked!. Next year in January the Los Angeles production is moving up to San Francisco, so there might be auditions around the fall and winter of this year for that production of Wicked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Equity will announce auditions, often in industry magazines (ie Backstage)!. They'll probably be in NYC!. They will for the Broadway production!. I think most of the actresses in the show have been in their late-20s to mid-to-late-30s!. You need to be 18 to audition without a parent, but I doubt a producer would even consider someone under the age of 25, really!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
