Some agents require loads of training (this is easy to get, but expensive) and some agents require lots of experience (not so easy to have, unless you have a great look or are extremely talented, or both)!. Every so often (at least around here), if an agent has a deficit in a prospective talent's look or age or clothing size, they'll take them on without lot of training or experience, but they usually require that person to seek training immediately!. I live in Texas near arguably the most successful agent in the state!. This agent has huge connections and represents several current Disney stars!. I imagine this is pretty rare outside of California, though!. If you don't live in the L!.A!. area, you're definitely at a disadvantage!. I know several people around here that go on an average of 6 auditions a year, but when they went to CA, they were going on AT LEAST 6 a week!. Usually, if you're over 7, you'll need training or experience to get an agent!.!.!.definitely if you're over 10!. However, the world is full of people that just got lucky!. You have very little shot of just sending in a tape of yourself to Disney and getting seen (remember, Miley Cyrus has a famous dad, and I suspect there's more to her story than that)!. Your best bet would be to get a great picture of yourself and type up (or have one of your parents type up) a cover letter stating what experience you might have and go to your favorite search engine and type in "[your nearest big city] talent agency" and send out your pictures to at least 5 different agencies!. Whatever you do, though, make sure these are legitimate and don't go to ANY interviews by yourself!. also, don't pay money to any agency without doing your research first!.!.!.there are certain fees that are legit, but there are way more that are bogus!. Above all, get your parents or guardian involved!.!.!.they'll have your best interest at heart!.
