The general term is "program!."

However, Playbill is a company that handles lots of theatre things, but their big thing is programs!. Broadway shows and many professional theatres use Playbill!.

If it's just a regular program, it's a program!.

If it has a yellow bar across the top that says Playbill, it's a Playbill!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A playbill is a poster announcing a play, the players, the performances, etc!. Programmes are distributed at the play, listing the cast and usually with a synopsis of the acts, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes but the name of the programme you get at a Broadway show and I think some OFF Broadway shows is called "PLAYBILL"!.
It is the name of the publication!.
