Here are some steps you should follow when becoming an actor:

-Get a headshot taken of yourself (doesn't have to be professional as a beginning actor, but should be decent)

-Once you have enough experience and think you are ready, submit to agents/casting directors in your area!. Find them at SAG!.org, ExploreTalent!.com (resources) and by seaching "talent agents in (your nearest big city), TX on google!. A list of agents contact information will come up; mail them headshot/resume or follow submission guidelines at their website!. Remember to never pay money to an agent!.
-Keep checking with your local theatre and film commission for upcoming auditions!. Stay in an ongoing class and take any acting opportunities that come your way!. Audition for anything that fits your category, experience is critical!.

Get an agent!. Go to the big city, Dallas or Austin TX - the live music capital of the world!. If the agent thinks you are good they will make a demo and start sending it to contacts in TV and film!. Nothing will happen overnight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
